Remote control
Coblight's offer includes:
- Integrated remote control infrastructure (optionally) in the lighting body, consisting of: control board (on board the lighting body, for the remote control of the power supply and the conversation with the remote interaction nodes with the center), management platform.
- Separate remote control infrastructure, which can be integrated with power supplies with secondary output (see technical specifications for the list of supported market power supplies) and completed by the provision of gateway nodes and, optionally, the management software platform.
Communication takes place, via radio link at 868 MHz based on the LoRa® protocol, between each lighting body and the reference data-collector, to be positioned within a radius of about 10Km, which in turn also acts as a gateway to the central control system. monitoring and control (communication between gateway and center can take place via cable, via WiFi or via GPRS / UMTS).
Basic functionality made available by remote control:
- constant maintenance of the luminous flux over time, by means of a programmed increase in the driving current of the LEDs on a time basis (this performance makes it possible to keep the illuminance values constant for the entire duration of the lamp post, automatically, even following any degradation of performance).
- variation of the preset and / or modifiable automatic dimming remotely and / or from a local wireless station.
- e execution of commands sent remotely: Switch on, Switch off, Dimming, Modify parameters, etc.
- recording of operating data: Voltage, Current, Temperature, Hours of Operation, etc. (essential both for the analysis of any deviations between expected and detected behavior, and as support for scheduled maintenance).
- spontaneous self-diagnosis and sending of alarms to the center when a malfunction condition is detected, with consequent notification to the support infrastructure (extraordinary maintenance, to be carried out in a timely and timely manner).
- operational autonomy of the street lamp in the absence of communication, guaranteed by the parameters preset in the factory.
Thanks to the functions described, significant savings can be obtained both in terms of maintenance (timely and “targeted” interventions, in the face of automatic “fault detection”), and in terms of energy consumption (reduction typically greater than 20% compared to canonical operation).
The remote control card can also collect and transmit data from local sensors, allowing the services offered to be extended far beyond simple lighting (e.g. monitoring of environmental parameters, alerts on specific conditions, remote meter reading, etc.).
